Brittany's work has a way of striking directly at your heart. She has an intimate way of tackling themes that can easily be overly generalized, when watching her short film, Q.U.E.E.N, her strength of character and integrity shines through in her storytelling. It is an intimate story that explores trauma, friendship, growth and healing - putting the spotlight on a difficult subject, but through her direction you feel empowered. This perception is not lost on Brittany, in her Director's Statement for 'Q.U.E.E.N', she writes,
This story inspires me because I believe wholeheartedly in women and young girls telling their stories. It is important to me that men, children, but especially, women and young girls, understand the importance of releasing their pain and living out their life’s purpose. ... I strongly believe in young girls and women realizing that they are more than their painful experiences and broken relationships, they too, can be victorious.
