Isaac Ruiz Gastélum (IRG) is an internationally awarded Mexican experimental filmmaker. Scholar of the National Fund for Culture and Arts: FONCA (Mexico, 2014). His work has been showcased in 25 countries including Argentina, Bolivia, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, England, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Mexico, Paraguay, Portugal, Romania, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, US, and Uruguay.

“Best Short Documentary” (Mexico, 2018), “Franco Zeffirelli Spirit Award” (USA, 2018), “Best International Documentary Short Film” (Argentina, 2018), “Best Direction” (Portugal, 2018) and twice “Best Short Film” for “Iku Manieva” (Portugal, 2018 and Mexico, 2017). “Guillermo Del Toro Spirit Award” (USA, 2018) for “Dispassion”.
