Born 1983 in Prague. After two years of study in Directing department at the Prague's film academy (FAMU) he was chosen by Béla Tarr among another 15 filmmakers from all around the world to his unique film program called Film Factory in Bosnia, Sarajevo.
With Béla Tarr as a mentor and executive producer, he made a short film called Eleanor, which was subsequently introduced by Mr. Tarr at Berlinale IFF as a work-in-progress.
In Film Factory he also met and worked intensively on a workshop basis with film-makers or theorists such as Tilda Swinton, Gus Van Sant, Carlos Reygadas, Jonathan Rosenbaum, Jean-Michel Frodon and many others.
After Bosnia, he moved to Iceland, where he produced another short film, called Maðurinn falinn í herbergi, in collaboration with some of the most talented and prominent Icelandic actors and film-makers. Nowadays he's developing his first feature film.
