Eliza Jiménez Cossio (she/her) is a chicana writer and actor, currently writing for Fred Armisen’s This Fool (Hulu) and Taika Waititi’s Our Flag Means Death (HBO Max), previously One Day at a Time (Netflix) and Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas (HBO).

Her award-winning first short, La Bruja, had a successful festival run including Palm Springs, Nitehawk, No Budge, Iron Mule, Milwaukee, and Lower East Side Film Festival. Her Sopranos/Sex and the City crossover script went viral on Twitter and was featured in AV Club, Slate, and Vulture. Also she was a correspondent on the Daily Show exactly two times. She wears sunscreen every day, and you should too.
