Michelle Uranowitz

Michelle Uranowitz is a New York based filmmaker, actor, and movement specialist.

She has a BFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where she now teaches movement and physical training to undergraduate and graduate actors. As a professional actor, she has performed in NYC and abroad under renowned theatre directors such as Karin Coonrod, Rachel Chavkin, Tim Carroll, and Kevin Kuhlke.

Her films have been shown at Slamdance Film Festival (Grand Jury Honorable Mention), Brooklyn Film Festival, Aesthetica, and Athens Film Festival. Most recently, she made her directorial debut with her upcoming film, Sales Per Hour, which she'll be submitting to festivals this Spring.
