Half Czech, half Croatian, he was born in Prague.

From 2010 - 2012 studied directing in Prague's Film Academy (FAMU), afterwards in Béla Tarr's film school in Sarajevo, Bosnia, called film.factory.

Nowadays he's developing his first feature, while completing new short films. Besides directing he often writes, edits, produces and acts.
