“The making of this film happened very organically. Jessica and I had been wanting to work together for a long time until we finally were able to set a shoot date. We went into the day with a rough idea of what we wanted to capture but allowed ourselves to follow any random inspiration on set.”

Peter Dolshun grew up in a single-note New Jersey suburb which caused him to yearn for more authentic and spiritually expansive experiences. Using his camera to capture the sentiments and diversity that his early life lacked, his narrative work serves as a meditation on the profound nature of real-life moments. Peter favors intimate, humanist portraits over extravagant plot points.
